ENGEN ECODRIVE
Fuel Up, Save Up
Engen EcoDrive is our latest fuel formulation, designed to enhance engine performance, improve fuel economy, and reduce vehicle emissions. Launched in October 2022, this innovative fuel uses a specialised chemical formulation to keep engines clean and efficient, offering motorists a more reliable and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The campaign, under the slogan “Fuel Up. Save Up.”, aimed to educate drivers about the benefits of this advanced fuel. With messaging in both English and Kinyarwanda, including “Nywesha, Wizigamire”, we connected with a wide audience, emphasising cost savings, better engine care, and a commitment to sustainability.

Engen EcoDrive Campaign
The Engen EcoDrive Campaign was launched on October 1st 2022 and with a plan to go on for 3 months therefore scheduled to end on December 31st 2022.
The first month was based on awareness, educating and informing the public on how the differentiated fuels benefit them and the economy at large.
The second month is more of engagement, aiming to highlight customer stories and monitor all our social media channels.
The 3rd month being around the festive season will bring exciting initiatives like Promos whereby when you consume a certain amount of EcoDrive Fuel – you stand a chance to win exciting.
MOGAS95
MOGAS95 is Engen’s premium fuel, specifically formulated for modern engines. Launched in December 2023, it is engineered to deliver enhanced engine performance, superior protection, and improved fuel efficiency.
To promote this innovation, we launched a dynamic campaign in partnership with Volkswagen Mobility Solutions Rwanda, aimed at encouraging customers to embrace the latest vehicle technologies with the confidence that high-quality fuel is now readily available.
Our campaign slogan, “Power Your Ride with New MOGAS95,” reflects our commitment to fueling Rwanda’s evolving automotive landscape. This initiative has also supported OEMs in introducing the latest engine technologies into the market, aligning with the country’s push toward modernisation and performance-driven mobility.
